Prologue
This story is based in Thailand on real characters and events, however, names have been changed for anonymity.
I’m Pete, 58 and let’s just say, a very good friend of mine, told me about an attractive Thai woman called Ariya in her early fifties, that he had the pleasure of spending a few weeks with. He also told me that he was quite lucky as he knew all the tricks and scams the girls use to basically, milk foreigners to death (extract all their money). Ariya is apparently, an ex government worker that took early retirement at 50 with a pension.
Her profile on the dating websites is of her wearing her government uniform, which is very similar to a police woman’s uniform. They love their uniforms and medals over here and government employees also get free hospital treatment for themselves and their spouse, even if retired! So that alone is a fantastic plus for any foreigner that is looking for a non bar girl type relationship. I was going to say, a nice educated Thai lady, however, as you will see, the educated ones can be even worse than the bar girls. She also has her own house and several plots of land.
Her method of snaring or catching the unsuspecting guys was by meeting them online and then getting them to send her money, buy houses and land etc. And at the time of writing, she has four guys sending her money, that I am aware of, but there could be more! One is an Indian guy she has never met, the next is an American that she has met (he bought her some land and sends money every month), a Dutch guy that bought her a 3.5 million Baht house and an English guy we will call Greg who is the same age as myself fifty eight. Greg was introduced to me by my old friend in the Expat bar as he is now living with Ariya and has spent about a million Baht so far, by falling for her charms and building a house on her land. This story is mainly about Greg and how he introduced me to her as well. All the naughty fun and games come later.
However, before I get into what is actually going on now, I need to explain that my old friend also told me that Ariya was with the Dutchman for about six months previously, of whom, was stupid enough, to buy her a 3.5 million Baht house for cash in a gated community. But not only that, she has registered the house in her sisters name! However, he had to go back to the Netherlands for a few weeks to sell his old house and when he returned, they had a huge argument as Ariya had basically emptied their joint bank account of approx 40,000 baht, claiming that she had debts and needed 30,000 per month as a regular income. I doubt she even earned that as a government worker and pensions are only half their income at retirement, but if they have debts, and they all do to the tune of millions, the debt payments are deducted first, so the actual pension would be very low. Anyway, the Dutch man obviously went nuts, as I and most sane men would too, but she was also now living with her new boyfriend Greg in his apartment.
Fast forward a few months and Greg, who was introduced to me by my old friend and with both of us being the same age, living in and out of Thailand for some 20 odd years and from the UK, we had a good connection. However, what I couldn’t get my head around, was why he had wasted a million Baht (£) building her a house on land that was purchased by the American and raised, at great cost, also by the Dutchman, as it was previously a rice field. Anyway, my old friend also told me that Greg was unaware of the American and the Dutchman that she’d just dumped. I can only assume, he thinks it is her land and trusts her.
