Introduction
This is a true story of what happened between my best friends wife and I while living and working in the Far East. Only the names have been changed for obvious reasons. Chloe was a really nice girl who was having issues with her husband Luke, my best friend and had called me after a massive row.
At the time, I was 39 and always been fit and healthy, looked after myself physically and into health and fitness. I’d recently been divorced and moved to Thailand to get away from all the bad memories and basically to start a new life. And whilst in Thailand, I’d been living with a Thai girlfriend for about 10 months, but we’d also just had a big break up over “money” and her crazy spending habits, so I’d moved out a week previously. So, I was staying at a small apartment on a month to month basis, and working for an American company that had an office in Thailand. Now Chloe was the wife of Luke and they’d also moved to Thailand, where we’d set up an office in Koh Samui, a beautiful tropical island in the South of Thailand as Luke and I were both working for the same company.
