The Mask and Missing Time
Ariana 23 is married to Jake 25, both come from affluent families but as Jake wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a director in the film industry they moved to Los Angeles, California. Jake is far more outgoing than Ariana who doesn’t enjoy going out to social gatherings or mixing with people at the exclusive functions to meet the A list movie stars and influential people in the industry.

Ariana cannot remember anything she does during the missing time so asks Felicity to help.

Prologue
My name is Ariana, I’m twenty three years of age, born and bred in Edmonton, Canada and now living in Los Angeles, California. Married to Jake for just over a year and is two years older than me. We met at University and both come from affluent families but as Jake wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a director in the film industry so we moved to L. A. where he was offered a position with a company called Bad Robot productions.
Jake is far more outgoing than myself and my main issue has always been, I’ve never liked dinner parties or going out to social gatherings and basically, don’t like mixing with people. Jake is always telling me I need to chill out and come out with him to all the exclusive functions to meet the A list movie stars and influential people in the industry. And because I’m simply not into all the ego and glamour, he goes alone.
But then he introduced me to David a psychologist friend of his and after a few sessions, I’ve become like two completely different people. My best friend Felicity has been helping me come to terms with what happened, so some paragraphs and chapters are her talking because I’m under the influence of my masked personality Sadie.
Chapter 1
The first session
It was after attending a party at a well known producers house that I told Jake that no way was I ever going to another disgusting event with him again. It was nothing short of a swingers orgy with people fucking and playing with each other and groups of men and women wandering around virtually naked.
